''Wound in Wall'' is the debut album of the dark wave/post-punk band Feeding Fingers, released . ''Wound in Wall'' was the result of the purging of a large back catalog of music that was written by frontman Justin Curfman from 1996 to 2005, that had never found a home in any of his film projects. A decision was made to rearrange the music so it could be performed by a trio for the public during a lull between two of Curfman's film projects, ''Platelets: Lepidopteraphage'' and ''TICKS''. Feeding Fingers continued beyond the initial release, becoming more than a side project to Curfman's film work.〔http://gothicrock.ru/din/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.217〕 The album was well received and found an audience in Europe. It was often compared to Joy Division, Cocteau Twins, Echo and The Bunnymen and early Cure albums like ''Seventeen Seconds'', ''Faith'' and ''Pornography''.〔http://gothicrock.ru/din/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.217〕〔http://www.treffpunkt-schwarz.de/interview-mit-feeding-fingers〕 Criticism of Curfman's vocal similarity to Robert Smith was disputed by Curfman himself, who stated: "The similarity is not intentional. The quality and tone of my voice is what it is and I am not going to alter my delivery, tip toe around the association, or apologize... I don’t know that I can go through puberty twice, so for the time being, this is my voice."〔http://www.justincurfman.com/treffpunkt_schwarz_transcript_interview_with_justin_curfman.htm〕 == Track listing == # "Mouth Filled With Sand" - 4:13 # "A Bag of Broken Hands" - 4:18 # "Seafoam Warm Piss" - 3:21 # "This Isn't Going to Hurt" - 4:54 # "This Is Yours" - 2:13 # "I Can't Breathe" - 3:23 # "Feeding Fingers" - 5:06 # "My Home Again" - 3:13 # "Theme for a Saw Tooth Hula Hoop" - 2:09 # "Manufactured Missing Children" - 4:24 # "Pesticides" - 4:18 # "Where Mimes Come to Say Goodbye" - 5:04 # "Swallow Me" - 4:04 # "Fireflies Make Us Sick" - 3:22 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Wound in Wall」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
